Vacation homes listed cheaper than Expedia?
I’ve seen thousands of ads with $29 a day and picture of beautiful house by the beach. Once you click ad, it directs you to site and what you thought was $29 a day, is really a fly by night motel. The actual house by the beach in ad is really $499 a day. Watch out for the switch and bait tactics from some lower end rental sites. I was a victim back in 2016 with a beautiful 6 bedroom house and pool. The morning I arrived, I received an email stating there was a plumbing problem in house, so they changed it to a 4 bedroom with pool. When we got there, the pool and house was outdated and dirty. My wife walked a few blocks over to property we originally booked, and to her surprised a family was there having a blast. This didn’t turn out so well for property manager. Just be mindful and ask questions before you book.

Should I just choose or buy a Timeshare?
Honestly, I haven’t heard the term timeshare for a while. It’s sort of a dying breed. About 10 years ago, the game changed to online vacation clubs. Instead of paying outrageous maintenance fees on timeshares you own, you join an exclusive online club. Now, they do sale you a pitch, and it is about an hour presentation to join club. But, after you hear presentation, it makes sense to see why you would want to own it. Before you make that decision, check-out Airbnb, Expedia, and even your local Airline vacation package deals. If they can beat those deals, then it should be a simple decision for you. Sometimes Airlines offer great deals, and we have partnered up in some occasions.
